Washington is a great state. Natural beauty, resources, and the people who live here make this a special place to live. Our state is named after our first president, and it embodies the promise of America.
Under the current state government, Washington is not living up to its potential. We’re facing a fiscal crisis, and our state leaders are not facing the problem. The state government is scaring off businesses, hurting our employment, and short-changing the education of our children.
Together, we can save our state government. We can fulfill the promise of Washington, and make this state and the 21st District successful. This can and should be one of the best places in the world to live, work, and raise a family.
For that to happen, we must restore fiscal responsibility to our state’s budget. We have to create a business climate that fosters creation of new jobs. And we must ensure that our children get the best education possible. All of these issues are interconnected; we cannot solve one without tackling the others. Luckily, the solutions are not mystical or outlandish. We can solve these problems with sane, rational choices based in common sense and clear understanding of the issues. Let’s work together, and safeguard the future for our state.
