Professional:
The majority of Ed’s work experience has been in leading distressed companies back to fiscal responsibility. Ed has worked in a variety of roles including Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President in firms across the technology spectrum.
He is the Past Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WatchGuard (WGRD) Technologies. Prior to that Ed served as Chief Executive Officer of PSC (PSCX), Chief Operating Officer of Intermec (UNA) and in a variety of Executive positions in General Management, Marketing and Finance. Currently, Ed serves on the Board of AROTECH (ARTX). Prior Public Board experience includes WatchGuard (WGRD), PSC (PSCX) and MBrane (CNRT). This is augmented by experience in the Snohomish County YMCA Board of Trustees and participation in a number of Advisory Boards.
Ed worked his way through 10 years of full time college and post-grad work as a carpenter, a laborer on a pipeline crew, a dining hall server, a janitor, a short order cook, and a snack bar attendant. He also worked as an analyst for the Oklahoma Reorganization Commission doing research on state agencies.

Personal:
Ed has been married to his wife Susan for 35 years. Ed and Susan have four children and four grandchildren. They attend Mary Magdalen church in Everett and play tennis at the Columbia Tennis Club.
Ed was active as a trustee for the Snohomish County YMCA for several years and is a member of the Architectural Control Committee in the Harbor Point Home Owners Association. He volunteers as a board member for the Northwest Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Governance. He relaxes by participating in a local book club with a group of good friends.
